Shackman antique reproduction doll with bisque shoulderhead and fully jointed wood body. Hand made in Japan in the 1970s. At this time collecting antique dolls was popular but real antiques were incredibly expensive. Shackman released a line of reproduction dolls that were sold undressed giving the owner the choice of clothing. This doll was sewn into a lovely hand made blue gingham dress with eyelet lace, crinoline and long bloomers. It is 9” tall and in very good condition. It has a small flaw on the top of its bun that may be part of the manufacturing process. Her dress is nice and clean free of damage and odors. Please see photos for details.
Estate item. Condition is pre owned.
